Introduction
The Appointment Section is part of the structure of the Human Resources Management Division, Registrar's Office which plays a role in the process of selecting, recruiting and appointing human capital at Universiti Putra Malaysia which covers the Serdang Campus and Bintulu Campus.
Functions of Appointment and Recruitment Section
This section is also responsible for:
Development of a staffing plan for the University including Management and Professional Group Officers (Academic and Non-Academic) and the Implementation Group);
Manage and operate the recruitment process for new permanent/contract staff for the Management and Professional Groups (Academic and Non-Academic), Implementation Groups and expatriate officers;
Manage and handle the reappointment of contract staff for the Management and Professional Groups (Academic and Non-Academic) and the Implementation Group;
Manage the appointment of MySTEP Personnel;
Coordinate the determination of starting salaries for new appointments;
Managing the new staff self-reporting process;
Coordinate salary review matters for new staff; and
Coordinate termination of service / resignation matters (permanent / contract).
