1. Can I apply for study leave under the sponsorship of an agency scholarship involving a contract with the following agency?

   External scholarship sponsorship is strongly encouraged as long as it does not involve any contract for the Officer / TAM is required to serve at UPM after graduation for a certain of period as stated in the study leave agreement.

    

2. Can I receive scholarships from two sponsors at the same time such as Mara and KPT?

   Officials can only be sponsored by a single sponsor at a time and if found to receive two sponsors, then the other sponsorship will be withdrawn.

    

3. If I receive a University scholarship but are only sponsored by fees and living allowances, am I eligible to apply for a family allowance?
   

   Officers need to make an official application along with supporting documents. Decisions are subject to JKBCB.

    

4. What are the age limits of Master's and PhD that allow for sponsorship?

• Academic Officer
• Master's degree studies are 35 years
• P.hd level studies are 40 years

• Non-Academic
• Master's degree studies are 50 years
• P.hd level studies are 45 years
