Organisation Development

Introduction

The Organizational Development Division is part of the structure of the Human Resource Management Division, Registrar's Office which is responsible for planning, human resource establishment, organizational management and human resource information management in Universiti Putra Malaysia which covers the Serdang campus and the Bintulu campus.

Functions of Organizational Development Section

This section is also responsible for:

  1. Human resource planning;
  2. Planning, designing, studying and managing the reorganization / strengthening / improvement of the structure of the Faculty, Division, Institute, and Centre;
  3. Prepare review papers and confirm applications for Faculty, Division, Institute and Centre positions to the Malaysian Ministry of Education / Public Service Department;
  4. Warrant management and personnel review;
  5. Staffing management in Faculties, Divisions, Institutes, and Centres;
  6. Monitor the operation and ensure the implementation of HRMIS, eIHRAMS and SISMAN systems;
  7. Optimizing the use of eIHRAMS and SISMAN systems;
  8. Regulate and manage data and ensure that human resource information is accurate and up-to-date;
  9. Implementation of UPM Kejat Organizational Management;
  10. Managing the deprivation of emolument rights;
  11. Manage matters of discipline and discipline of UPM staff in accordance with the requirements of Act 605 of Statutory Bodies (Discipline and Surcharge 2000);
  12. Manage UPM staff property declaration matters; and
  13. Assist in managing University investigation cases.
