Appointment and Recruitment

Introduction

The Appointment and Recruitment Section is part of the structure of the Human Resource Management Division, Registrar's Office which is responsible for selection, recruitment and appointment of human capital in Universiti Putra Malaysia which covers the Serdang campus and the Bintulu campus.

Functions of Appointment and Recruitment Section

This section is also responsible for:

  1. Development of University staff establishment planning including Academic Officers and Non-Academic Officers from the Management and Professional Group, as well as the Executive Team Members (AKP);
  2. Manage and operate the recruitment process of new permanent / contract staff for the Management and Professional Group (Academic and Non-Academic), Executive Team Members (AKP), and expatriates;
  3. Handle and conduct the re-appointment of contract staff for the Management and Professional Group (Academic and Non-Academic), and Executive Team Members (AKP);
  4. Manage the appointment of Daily Part-Time Workers (PSH);
  5. Coordinate the determination of starting salary of new appointments;
  6. Operate the self-report process of new staff;
  7. Coordinate new staff salary review matters; and
  8. Coordinate termination of service / resignation (permanent / contract) matters.
