SERVICES OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

In producing high-performing talent among staff, training is one of the most important processes for an organization. The Public Sector Human Resource Training Policy outlines that the objective of training is to provide qualified, capable and competent staff, be able to produce quality work, increase productivity, form noble values and positive attitudes, create value creation and added value in the public sector and providing direction for staff career advancement (Service Circular No. 6 Year 2005).

As a Public University, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides training to improve the quality of delivery, further realizing the goal of achieving excellence in teaching and learning, research and professional services at all levels, whether new or experienced staff. Training is also able to give a jump and new breath to the culture of knowledge and lifelong learning as well as enhance and add value to knowledge, strengthen work skills, change attitudes and strengthen KSA (KSA - Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) among UPM citizens.
