Section of Governance

Governance Section

The Governance Section is part of structure in Division of Governance and Integrity, Registrar Office which plays a role in:

  1. Manage and monitor the appointment of the Pro Chancellor;
  2. Management of matters related to University's Board of Directors;
  3. Appointment of Principal University Officers - deal with the IPTA Governing Division, Department of Higher Education in matters regarding the proposed appointment of key positions in the University such as Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor and managing the appointment of Registrar, Bursar and Legal Advisor;
  4. Award Nominations – manage nominations for Federal and State Honors;
  5. Matters related to circulars, policies, service policies and instruction letters; and
  6. Monitor the implementation requirements of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Constitution 2010 and AUKU 1971 as amended in 2012 and monitor the implementation of the Statute.
