Applications must be submitted three (3) months before the expiry date of the original study leave approval or prior extension approval. The original application document must be submitted to the Study Leave Section through the Faculty to be presented in the Scholarship and Study Leave Committee Meeting (JKBCB).
The documents required for extension purposes are as follows:
Approval is subject to Scholarship and Study Leave Committee Meetings (JKBCB). Extension is not the right of the officer and will not be granted automatically.
Employees eligible to receive a family allowance if approved first extension (6 months), but it is subject to JKBCB and affordability.
Financial guarantee letters will be issued by the scholarship sponsor (e.g. MOE) and the officer will have to deal directly with the sponsor. For the purpose of obtaining financial security for the family, the officer must apply to the Study Leave Section.
Yes. Extension applications must be made at least 3 months before the study deadline and if the application is made earlier it is better.
