The purpose of the Information and Communication Development Center (iDEC) is to ensure that all UPM residents are aware and take security measures of data and information security on their computers.

The purpose of this campaign is to inform a few things that every computer staff should do to ensure the security of data and information on their computers:

1. The computer needs to be equipped with Antivirus software and the software needs to be constantly updated
2. Access to computer must have password
3. Password must contain a minimum of eight (8) characters in combination with uppercase, lowercase, number, and special characters.
