Introduction
The Medical and Employee Relations Section is responsible for the medical and welfare affairs of UPM officers.
Function/Role
- To plan, manage, monitor and implement medical facilities for UPM staff and retirees:
- Payment of Panel Clinic Bills, Government/University Hospital, IJN, Hemodialysis Treatment Center, LPPKN, National Tuberculosis Center and University Health Centers;
- Medical/dental claims and staff health checkups;
- Updating staff/dependents information in the e-IHRAMS system;
- Managing the Medical Board
- To plan and manage UPM Medical Committee Meetings

To plan and manage uniforms and safety clothing for UPM Officers
- To plan and manage Majlis Bersama Jabatan Meetings
- To manage and monitor the management of UPM Quarters
- To manage LPPSA housing loan applications

To manage home relocation allowance claims (LPPSA loans and out/in quarters)
- To manage EPF withdrawal applications for pensionable employees
- To manage the application for employer confirmation letter and bachelor certificate

To plan and coordinate the UPM Staff Welfare Fund Governance Committee Meetings

To manage the application for contributions from the UPM Staff Welfare Fund
