Serdang, January 18 – Program Transformasi Minda for Academic and Professional Management Group Series 1/2017 are organized by Training Section, of the Registrar Office has ended yesterday. The seven days program start from January 9 until January 17, 2017 located at Al-Farabi Seminar Hall, Faculty of Human Ecology, UPM.

The program objectives are to expose all the attending trainees about nationalism, principles and philosophy of statehood as well a state administrative system. Implementation of this program will foster self-esteem, patriotism and individuality that are competent and capable in adapting through their service. In addition, this program focusing on excellent work culture so that our services can be delivered efficiently and effectively.

In preparing trainees to have first class mentality, the program consist of two Modules that is “Program Transformasi Minda” (General Module) which held for 5 days. Then it is followed by 2 days detailed course on “Kursus Penyelidikan & Khidmat Profesional”.  The program are attended by 49 trainees from various department.

         

Amongst the topics laid out by the speakers at the first module are; “Pengenalan dan Hala Tuju UPM” by Encik Abdullah Arshad (Timb. Pengarah Pej. Strategi Korporat dan Komunikasi), “Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti UPM” by Puan Noorizai Mohamad Noor (Ketua, Bahagian Pegurusan Kualiti), “Kepatuhan Kepada Peraturan Universiti” by Puan Zainora Abdul Talib (Ketua Bahagian Audit Dalam UPM), and “Overview Perkhidmatan Awam & Sistem dan Pentadbiran Negara” by Prof. Madya Dr. Rozanah Ab. Rahman (Penasihat Undang-undang UPM).

The second module was open by guest speaker Prof. Madya Dr. Ahmad Zaharin Aris (Dekan, Fak. Pengajian Alam Sekitar) with its title “Matching Expectations”, followed by more specific topics on research fields that is “Towards A Research University Of International Repute” carried by Prof. Dato' Dr. Abu Bakar Salleh and “Commercialisation Of Research & Development” from Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd Azmi bin Mohd Lila.

Through this program hopefully our young academicians are more prepared in carrying out their duties and services at UPM
